Minha mãe mandou um áudio rindo de uma coisa que aconteceu no trabalho e eu ouvi duas vezes só por causa da risada. No primeiro eu nem prestei atenção direito na história, fiquei contente de ouvir ela leve, sem perguntar se a gente tá precisando de dinheiro ou se vó foi na consulta. Respondi contando uma besteira do ensaio e fiquei esperando ela ouvir, olhando o celular como se fosse conversa ao vivo. Depois bateu saudade, daquelas que dão vontade de estar no mesmo cômodo sem ter assunto nenhum. Ela respondeu só mais tarde, já com sono, e eu disse boa noite normal. Não tava triste o tempo todo, é isso que é estranho, passei o dia feliz e ainda queria muito que ela estivesse aqui.

My daughter called from Denver to tell me she had made the soup I used to pack for her in school, and I was tickled until she said she had changed nearly everything in it. Less of this, more of that, something green I would never put in that soup. I told her it sounded good anyway. 女儿发来一段同学唱歌的视频，让我听哪里跑调。我不懂，听了两遍说还可以，她回我一个大笑的脸，说爸爸你耳朵不行。我倒没烦，平常她找我都是问饭好了没有，突然说个不相干的事情，心里蛮舒服。想回点什么，又怕话一多她就不发了，最后说下次你唱我听。发出去又觉得这句像布置任务。她没有马上回，我也没催，做晚饭时又听了一遍，还是不知道哪里跑调。老婆说她是在跟你开玩笑，不是找你当评委。我知道，我就是想听明白一点。

Depois larguei e fui dançar um pouco, no começo o joelho estava duro de ficar sentada, aí foi soltando e quando vi já estava suando na nuca. Gosto desse cansaço que vem com música, bem diferente do pé pesado no fim do turno. Sentei antes de ficar ruim e fiquei batendo o ritmo no chinelo. Em casa tomei banho e deitei com as pernas esticadas, o ouvido ainda lembrando o barulho do quintal. Dormi tão bem que acordei achando que tinha perdido a hora, mas era folga e eu podia virar pro outro lado.
