À la chorale, quelqu'un m'a demandé si je voulais rester boire un verre après la répétition. J'ai failli répondre que je devais rentrer, alors que personne ne m'attendait et que je n'avais rien laissé sur le feu. J'y suis allée, nous avons parlé de choses assez ordinaires et j'ai passé un bon moment. C'est en ouvrant ma porte que Bernard m'a manqué, parce que j'aurais aimé lui raconter une plaisanterie qui l'aurait fait rire. Je n'étais pas malheureuse pendant la soirée. C'est seulement étrange de rentrer contente et de ne pas savoir où mettre ce qu'on aurait dit à l'autre. J'ai fini par l'écrire à ma fille, qui a répondu le lendemain.

A coworker made a joke about me checking things twice and I didn't find it funny. Usually I can let that pass. Today he kept going in front of a new guy, making it sound like I was scared of my own job, and I felt hot before I'd said anything. I told him the check was happening whether he liked the performance or not. We worked fine after that. I'm still annoyed, and I don't feel the need to turn it into a story where I learn to take a joke. I have been afraid up there. He can know that if he wants. It doesn't make doing the job carefully something I owe an apology for.

went Bedok early, thought cloudy means won't get hot, good theory until the clouds all left. sat there with the rod and could feel the back of my neck getting warm, then warmer, still didn't move because got something touching the bait. turned out small fish having breakfast at my expense. stood up after quite long and my legs needed a moment to remember the arrangement. bought cold water on the way back, first few mouthfuls damn shiok. at home mum said my face red already, why never wear cap. cap was in my bag the whole time. brought all the equipment, just never operate the person properly haha

Got home from shift and Papa had already made breakfast, so instead of going straight to my room I sat with him while the rice was still hot. My ears were sore from the headset and I could still feel the band on top of my head even though it was in my bag. After eating I got so sleepy I was answering him with my eyes closed, very respectful daughter behavior haha. But once I lay down, a tricycle outside sounded EXTRA loud and my body decided we were available for another hour. I wasn't thinking about anything important, just hot feet, cool pillow, blanket on then off. Pagod na, but apparently being tired and being asleep are separate departments.

بڑے بیٹے نے آج اپنی کاپی دکھائی۔ میں نے کہا بہن کو دکھاؤ، وہ بہتر دیکھ لے گی۔ اس کا منہ اتر گیا تو سمجھ آیا کہ وہ پڑھوانے نہیں، مجھے دکھانے آیا تھا۔ پاس بٹھایا، اس نے خود سوال پڑھا اور بتایا کیسے کیا ہے۔ کچھ سمجھ آیا، کچھ نہیں، مگر وہ خوش ہو کر بول رہا تھا۔ مجھے اچھا لگا اور دل میں تھوڑا افسوس بھی ہوا کہ پہلے ہی ٹال دیا۔ بڑی بیٹی کی پڑھائی کا ذکر بہت کرتا ہوں، لڑکوں سے اکثر بس پوچھ لیتا ہوں اسکول گئے تھے۔ بیٹے نے جاتے ہوئے کاپی میز پر کھلی چھوڑ دی۔ میں نے بند نہیں کی، بیوی کو بھی دکھانی تھی۔ اس نے دیکھا تو کہا آج استاد صاحب گھر میں بھی کلاس لے رہے تھے۔

The girl from art club asked if the drawing on my notebook was our school or a made-up building. I said it was supposed to be a garage, which was a really complete conversation until she asked another question. We talked for a few minutes and I was nervous but not as bad as I expected. Then somebody called her and she left. I kept thinking I should have asked about her drawing instead of explaining the door measurements. My sister says that still counts as talking. I know. I'm pretty happy about it actually, even if reading this makes it sound like a report about a garage. I'll say hi next time. Probably without the measurements.

Кызым услышала мой голос по телефону и начала тянуть руки к экрану. Моя повернула камеру чтобы я видел, она ещё сердится когда папу нельзя взять за лицо. Я смеялся а потом как-то тихо стало. На объекте весь день разговариваешь и вроде не один, а вечером хочется домой к этим двум комнатам где всегда кто-то зовёт. Попросил не выключать сразу, посмотрел как дети играют. Малай показал свою постройку и сказал что стену сделал ровно как я. Хорошо это слышать. После звонка ещё посидел на матрасе, не стал сразу обсуждать с ребятами завтрашнюю работу. До дома не так далеко, но не каждый вечер доедешь.

Сын вытащил меня во двор покидать мяч собакам и я вдруг тоже начала за ними бегать, в домашних штанах и тапках, Димочка с веранды только головой качает)) Через пять минут уже дышала как после лестницы на объекте, но здесь хоть понятно ради чего, пёс никак не мог решить за мной ему бежать или за мячом. Щёки горели, волосы в лицо, тапок один слетел. Села на ступеньки и почувствовала какие ноги тяжёлые, пока носилась вообще не замечала. Сын принёс тапок и сказал что завтра нужен нормальный спортивный вид. Ему девять, а уже назначил мне тренировку, вот откуда это у человека!

Ticket said wireless broken in whole building. Was one room, two laptops, same desk. Took a walk there before changing anything. Cable to access point had been moved during some work, label still on old end. Easy once seen. Makes me wonder how many hours we spend testing what someone meant by whole building. Wrote room and device names in ticket this time. Junior asked for a diagram too. Drew it, quicker than another paragraph. Need move that label. If leave it, next person follows wrong cable same as I did.

隣のおじさんが工場の片付けしながら、学校で今何やってるって聞いてくれた。説明してたら実物出して見せてくれて、授業で分からなかったとこが一個つながった。そういうことかって言ったら笑ってた。子供のころは邪魔しないで見てるだけだったのに、最近こっちの話も最後まで聞いてくれるのが普通にうれしい。母さんに頼まれた買い物忘れて長居したから、帰ってからもう一回出たけど笑。工場の前通ったらおじさんがまだいて、さっきぶりって手を上げてくれた。休みの日こういうのでいいんだよな。
