Reached behind the passenger seat for my football bag and got the usual tight feeling through the right shoulder, which apparently has a maximum operating angle. Fine going forwards, less keen on the other direction. At five a side it loosened up while I was warming up and I forgot about it until we finished. Mostly noticed how hot I was, despite having contributed very little to the score. Knee clicked getting into the car but wasn't swollen. Went home starving and ate standing at the kitchen counter, still in my kit. Fiancée asked why I couldn't sit down like a normal person. No technical explanation available.

给舞队换队形这事，站着说的时候个个明白，一放音乐就有人往老位置跑，俺还以为她们没记，今天画到纸上才发现，自己把中间两个人的路安排重了，难怪碰肩膀！我拿花生米当人，一个个往前挪，婆婆顺手吃了一颗，俺说这个是二婶子的位置，不能吃，她笑得不行。现在最麻烦的不是谁记不住，是前排往后走的时候后排还没让开，得多留两拍，可音乐到那儿又变快。先把纸留着，明晚叫两个人早点来试，不能光在群里说了。

I am sorting the ukay clothes by size but one blouse says medium and can fit only my left arm, while another medium is practically a curtain. The chat buyers ask whether it will fit them and I cannot answer from a label that tells fairy tales. My daughter says measure across and post the numbers, simple. Simple until I remember which people will ask if that number goes all the way around hahaha. So I took a photo showing where the tape sits, then made the explanation shorter because even I did not want to read it. Same as teaching my babies, show first then talk. Except my buyers are adults and will still ask what colour the blue one is.

Ein Stammgast hat nach meiner Tochter gefragt und noch gewusst, wie alt sie inzwischen ist. Ich kenne seine Zimmerwünsche seit Jahren, mit dieser umgekehrten Zuständigkeit hatte ich nicht gerechnet. Hat mich gefreut. Ich habe ihm erzählt, dass sie neuerdings alles selber beschriften will, auch Gegenstände, die man ohne Schild erkennt. Er hat gelacht und gefragt, von wem sie das wohl hat. Darüber konnte ich ebenfalls lachen. Später habe ich meiner Frau die Begegnung erzählt. Sie meinte, dass ich sonst nie erwähne, wenn jemand nett zu mir ist. Es gibt eben meist keinen Vorgang dazu.

À la brocante j'ai vu un petit meuble qui conviendrait dans l'atelier, sauf qu'une porte ferme de travers. Le vendeur disait que c'était juste une charnière. Possible, mais le meuble était posé sur un sol inégal et je n'avais rien pour vérifier. Je suis repartie sans l'acheter, puis j'y ai pensé pendant toute la promenade du retour. Pas au prix : à l'ordre dans lequel j'aurais contrôlé les défauts. Ça m'amuse presque autant que la réparation elle-même. J'ai déjà du bois et assez de rangement, donc aucune nécessité. Reste que j'aimerais bien savoir si la porte est voilée ou si le vendeur avait raison. Je retournerai peut-être voir, sans promettre de le ramener.

Tava lendo rótulo no intervalo e imaginei como explicaria aquilo pra minha avó sem parecer que voltei do cursinho pra dar aula na cozinha dela. Ela sabe de comida um monte de coisa que eu ainda nem sei perguntar. Eu quero aprender nutrição por causa dessa comida também, não pra tratar tudo que tem gosto de casa como erro. Na minha cabeça a conversa sai linda, na prática eu às vezes começo com uma palavra difícil e ela me olha esperando eu falar português. Fiquei procurando um exemplo simples e acabei com fome. Anotei a dúvida pra levar pra professora, porque gostar de um assunto não quer dizer que já entendi direito, mesmo quando falo toda animada.

Found my old hospital badge in a drawer while looking for a charger. The photograph is unflattering, but I could remember exactly how it felt to walk in wearing it and know who needed what from me. I was angry all over again about how that job ended. Not devastated, not looking for a lesson, just angry that so many years became a meeting and a packet of information. I have good work now and people have been kind. That does not cancel what happened. I put the badge back instead of throwing it away. Then called my sister and told her why I was irritated before she had to guess. She remembered the day more clearly than I expected.

saí pra fora um pouco com a camisa molhada e o ar frio bateu no pescoço deu um arrepio bom
na volta as perna cansada mas diferente da linha sem aquele frio nos dedo
dormi pesado e acordei com fome antes dos outro
se não fosse a mãe chamar pra comer eu ficava mais na cama.

خرجت بعد الفجر جريا خفيفا، اليوم ما حسبتش كل دقيقة. الوتر شد في الأول وبقيت في الطريق المستوي حتى سخنت الرجل. الهواء بارد في الوجه واليدين ولكن الظهر سخن بسرعة، كنت كنسمع النفس والخطوات فوق التراب. في الرجوع مشيت الجزء الأخير ولم أزد الطلعة، الكوتش قال نخلي شي قوة للغد. وصلت وجعت الخبز ونسيت أني ما فطرتش. جلست نأكل مع راجلي والرجلان دافئتان تحت الطاولة، هذا التعب زوين ماشي التعب اللي يمنعك تتحرك. قال لي اليوم ما عيطتيش زيد زيد. قلت له كنت كنخلي الطريق يرتاح مني شوية. ضحكنا وأنا ما زلت أحس بالهواء البارد في أنفي، الحمد لله.

Bailé con mi señora en la plaza y en la primera pieza traía todavía las piernas del turno, como si fuera cuidando una charola invisible. Ella se rio y me dijo que no había ninguna mesa que atender. Ya en la segunda aflojé el paso y pude seguirla sin ir pensando dónde apoyar cada pie. Las rodillas no se volvieron nuevas, tampoco vamos a mentir, pero se siente distinto moverse por gusto que estar dando vueltas entre las mesas. Al terminar nos quedamos sentados oyendo otra canción. Yo llevaba la camisa pegada a la espalda y ella tenía calor también, así que nadie tuvo prisa por levantarse. Hoy con dos piezas estuvo bien.
