At the nail appointment I chose a pale pink and let my hands rest where the lady put them, which sounds like nothing, but usually my fingers are searching for a pin or smoothing something while another person talks. The warm towel felt so good around my knuckles that I wished she would leave it a minute longer. I didn't ask. I watched the polish go on instead, that careful little brush making everything look neat. When I stood up my right heel reminded me I'd been on the boutique floor all morning. Still, my hands looked lovely on the steering wheel going home. I kept looking at them at the red lights.

Il a répondu qu'il savait bien, mais qu'il avait dû mettre sur pause pour montrer mon nom. Après avoir raccroché, je suis resté avec cette image de lui devant une télévision arrêtée. J'aurais pu simplement dire que j'étais content qu'il l'ait regardé. Je lui ai envoyé un message plus tard, assez court pour ne pas recommencer une conférence.

Mostrei pro moço, meu namorado, e ele falou que era bonitinho sem tirar muito o olho da televisão. Fiquei com raiva dele por não achar aquilo enorme, sendo que nem conhece o menino direito. Depois ouvi de novo sozinha. A voz da mãe comemorando quase mais alto que a leitura é minha parte preferida.

abis futsal tadi paha rasanya berat bgt pas jongkok ambil gelas di warung, padahal mainnya juga gk full. selama di lapangan masih sok kuat ngejar bola, giliran disuruh ibu bantu angkat air jalannya pelan kayak orang baru bangun. kayaknya karena beberapa hari cuma sekolah terus duduk main sampai malam, pas lari langsung kaget semua. telapak kaki masih panas waktu sandal dilepas, terus baru sadar dari tadi kaus kaki basah belum diganti. udah mandi sekarang enakan, cuma kalau turun tangga masih berasa. pengen rebahan lurus tapi tempat tidur penuh buku tryout, ini pertama kalinya buku bikin olahraga tambahan wkwk.

بنت من اللي علمتهم فالماكينة جابت ليا حلوى وقالت هادي من أمي كتسلم عليك، فرحت بها ماشي حيث الحلوى ولكن حيث هضرات عليا فالدار بشي حاجة زوينة، أنا كنعيط عليها ملي كتسرع وكتخسر القطعة وكنقول يمكن كتمشي وهي كارهاني، قالت أمي بغات تعرف شكون الخالة اللي كنحكي عليها كل نهار، قلت ليها راه باقي صغيرة على الخالة وضحكنا، ولكن الاسم كيعجبني ما نكذبش، فطريق الرجوع بقيت حاضية العلبة باش ما تهرسش، قسمت منها مع الدراري وخليت شوية نديهم فالنهار الموالي للبنات، بنتي قالت لي غير كلي نتي مرة، كليت وحدة أخرى وهي كتشوف فيا.

J'ai retrouvé un ancien horaire de train et plusieurs noms de gares m'ont rappelé des incidents que je croyais oubliés. Je sais encore à quel endroit un voyageur m'avait raconté une histoire interminable, mais je ne sais plus son nom ni comment elle finissait. Ce qui revient très précisément, c'est le mouvement du wagon pendant qu'il parlait. Martine dit que je raconte toujours les mêmes anecdotes ; pourtant il en reste beaucoup qui ne tiennent pas debout comme histoires, juste une voix ou un détail. Je me demande si je me souviens du travail ou de la version que j'en ai racontée depuis. En tout cas, en relisant les horaires, j'ai vérifié mentalement une correspondance qui n'existe peut-être plus.

阿仔視像嗰陣問我，佢朋友屋企老人家成日話唔想出門，點樣同佢傾好。我第一句竟然係問佢醫院冇人可以問咩，講完先覺得自己真係唔識接話。佢話想聽我平時喺日間中心點做。我其實幾開心，終於唔係問我食咗藥未，又唔係叫我唔好落田咁耐，而係真係想聽我講工作。我講得長咗少少，老婆喺旁邊指一指時間，我先停。收線後又諗，我係咪講到太似上堂，阿仔會唔會下次唔問。老婆話佢有聽，仲記低咗。我冇再出聲，但心入面暖咗成晚，連佢叫我收菜盆，我都冇拖住唔起身。個問題本身冇乜特別，我做咗咁多年，但阿仔肯揀我嚟問，對我唔係一句濕濕碎咁簡單。呢句就寫喺度，唔使發俾佢睇。

My girlfriend came home tired and I was halfway into a whole story about a passenger when she asked could we just sit for a minute. I felt a little tight, not gonna lie, story had a GOOD ending. But she put her head against me so I knew she wasn't mad. We stayed there with the train rattling the window and no TV on, which almost never happens here. I liked it more than I expected. After a while she asked what happened with the passenger and I told the short version, yes I have one of those. She laughed. Felt mad good being the person she wanted next to her even when she didn't want the microphone on.

Entrenamiento bastante mejor que el anterior. Calenté antes de ponerme a chutar, aunque daban ganas de entrar directamente al partidillo, y el gemelo derecho no tiró en el primer cambio de ritmo. Luego me faltó aire más que piernas, que también conviene anotarlo antes de echarle toda la culpa al músculo. Acabé con la camiseta empapada y la nuca menos rígida que al salir del registro. En casa estiré un rato mientras mi pareja preparaba la cena. Tenía hambre de verdad, no ganas de picar mirando el correo. Ahora las piernas pesan, pero la mandíbula está suelta. Me he dado cuenta al bostezar. Durante el día la llevaba apretada sin motivo claro.
