My boy read the writing on a game cover today, slowly but correct, then waited for me to clap like teacher. I clapped proper. One customer laughed and said the thing was only three words, as if three words no fit make person happy. I vex but I no answer him because my boy was already searching for another cover to show me. He mix up the next one and start laughing himself. That laugh sweet me pass the reading even. When mama came to collect him I told her in front of him, so he can know I wasn't just doing noise for show. Now he says he will read all the games in my shop. Some of those names go humble both of us sha.

Walked the dog before the sidewalks heated up and he decided every third driveway needed a full inspection. Normally I'd call that wasted time, but stopping meant I noticed how tight the front of my hips felt after yesterday's marathon at the desk. By the second block I was walking more comfortably, not taking those ridiculous little steps I do after getting out of the car. Came home warm enough to skip the hot coffee for a few minutes and stood barefoot on the kitchen tile. The dog got directly in front of the refrigerator. Apparently his breakfast service window was closing.

took my headset off at lunch and could still feel the little dent behind my ear like it had left a representative there to supervise me. went outside for approximately one minute, phoenix immediately tried to cook my face, returned to the break room and actually sat somewhere that wasn't my desk. i stretched my legs out and noticed my jaw was still doing the customer service clench even though nobody was talking to me. by the end of lunch it had loosened enough that chewing didn't feel like another assignment. back upstairs the headset felt weirdly heavy for something so small. the cat weighs more and contributes equally little to my monthly income

I was looking at a house near the river online and caught myself arranging furniture in rooms I haven't even stood in, down to where we'd put the shoes. My boyfriend said the kitchen looked small and I immediately explained how it would work, though all I'd done was believe the photograph. Sure I'd be a marvellous estate agent to myself. I've put the pictures away for tonight and I'm trying to work out what we would actually need, not what looks like a grown-up life in a brochure. Somewhere to dry camogie gear without it hanging over the sofa ought to be higher on the list than the very tasteful front door.
