после поля села на край кровати снять носки и так и осталась сидеть. ступни горячие а пол холодный приятно поставить пятки прямо на него. пальцы на руках отмыла не до конца у ногтей всё равно тёмное но больше тереть уже не хотелось. спина ныла когда наклонялась к ногам поэтому вторую пятку подтянула к себе рукой. потом легла поперёк кровати ещё в футболке. слышала как сосед сверху двигает стул и думала что сейчас встану поесть. проснулась когда уже стало темнее в комнате. ноги не гудели зато на щеке остался шов от покрывала. в зеркало посмотрела только чтобы понять почему колется.

バイト先の注文の聞き間違いをネタにしたいのに、説明してるうちに全然おもろなくなる。私が見た時は店員の顔込みで笑ったから、その顔を言葉で説明しようとして長くなるんやと思う。相方に一回やってもらったら、私が書いた台詞より、その前の無言の方がよかった。くやしいけどそこは残したい。どこまで削ったら初めて見る人にも何が起きたか分かるんやろ。母に話したら途中で自分の聞き間違いの話始めた。まだ本題そこちゃう！ でも母の話の方が短かった。参考にはする、知らんけど。

dad came to our rehearsal showing without making me promise to go to a football game first and i was embarrassingly happy about it, like i kept checking the back row even though i am the stage manager and have an actual job. afterwards he said the scene changes looked easy. EASY. i know that was supposed to be a compliment but i wanted him to have seen the entire disaster with the table leg and the freshman who forgot his entrance, except obviously the point was that he didn't. he asked if i wanted food on the way home and i told him all of it in the car while he missed the turn for the drive through

Клиент забрал отремонтированную сумку и сказал сыну, который пришёл с ним, что вот так делают настоящие мастера. Я сразу показал место, где не удалось полностью убрать старый след, и только потом понял, что человек не просил искать недостаток. Он просто благодарил. Было приятно, даже очень, но отвечать на такое почему-то труднее, чем объяснить цену. Вечером рассказал жене, начал опять с этого следа на коже. Она спросила, понравилась ли сумка клиенту. Понравилась. Тогда зачем я ей доказываю обратное. Не доказываю, просто хочется, чтобы похвала относилась к тому, что действительно получилось.

Beim Kegeln hat die erste Kugel heute kaum gewusst, wo sie hin soll. Ich war mit dem Kopf schon beim Ergebnis und mit den Beinen noch nicht ordentlich aufgestellt. Danach ging es besser. Den Arm schwingen lassen, ohne etwas Kleines festhalten zu müssen, tut mir gut. Warm wurde mir auch, obwohl die anderen sagten, es ziehe in der Halle. Hinterher saß ich mit offenem Hemdkragen da und spürte die Beine mehr als sonst. Zu Hause wollte die Chefin wissen, ob wir gewonnen hätten. Ich sagte, wir hätten uns bewegt. Sie kennt inzwischen die verschiedenen Formulierungen für verloren. Geschlafen habe ich jedenfalls ordentlich.

Been sketching a frame that looks good on paper and probably rides like a shopping cart. Every time I change the proportions to something sensible, I like the drawing less. Art school me would keep the dramatic shape. Shop me wants to ask who is actually going to sit on the damn thing. I'm not building it tomorrow, so maybe I can let the two versions exist instead of forcing one to win tonight. Showed the library assistant both drawings and got asked which one I would lend my mother. Unfair question. Very effective. Still kept the other sketch because the way the tubes meet is nice to look at.

The youngest stayed behind after work to ask if he was doing all right on our crew. He's my brother, but at work I call him the apprentice and probably give him more stick than anyone. Said yes, he was doing fine, and he looked so relieved I felt a bit rotten. Had thought he knew. Then he asked if that meant he could borrow the van Saturday and I couldn't tell how much of the speech had been preparation. He's not getting the van. Still glad he asked me the first bit. Mentioned it to my fiancée over tea and she said we were both exactly like my dad. Can't argue much with that.

La cousine avec qui nos familles parlent de mariage m'a envoyé une photo d'un repas raté en disant de ne pas croire tout ce que sa tante raconte sur elle. Cela m'a fait rire, et surtout j'ai été moins gêné pour répondre. D'habitude nos messages ressemblent à des salutations qu'on pourrait lire devant toute la famille. Je lui ai raconté comment j'avais laissé tomber un panier de concombres, sans faire de moi le garçon sérieux qui ne rate rien. Après, j'étais content de notre conversation et un peu inquiet qu'elle y entende une promesse que je n'ai pas faite. J'aimerais pouvoir apprendre à la connaître sans que chaque bonne parole devienne déjà une décision.

A customer asked whether we could copy the fit of his old trousers without copying their shape. I nearly said those were the same thing, but he meant the ease of moving in them, not how wide they looked in a photograph. I had him show me where the new pair felt wrong and the question became much clearer. I have been doing this long enough that I sometimes hear the familiar words before the person has finished explaining. He did not know the word rise, but he knew exactly what happened when he sat down. I made a note in his ticket so I will remember that part. The measurements alone would not have reminded me what he was asking for.

Je veux emmener le petit voir la mer à Douarnenez et je m'aperçois que je prépare surtout les endroits de mon enfance, pas une journée pour un enfant de son âge. Le port où j'attendais mon père, la rue de ma mère, tout ça lui dira quelque chose quand on lui racontera, mais pour l'instant une flaque peut l'occuper une demi-heure. J'ai demandé à ma femme de m'aider à faire simple, un endroit où marcher, du temps pour manger, et pas toute la Bretagne entre deux trains. J'aimerais lui montrer beaucoup, c'est vrai. Peut-être qu'on pourra revenir, au lieu de faire de la première visite une tournée de tous mes souvenirs.
