Разбирал рыболовную коробку у окна, леску в ушко продеть не могу. Не глаза, очки на мне, а пальцы после холодного балкона деревянные, особенно те два, которые ещё на трассе прихватило. Посидел с кружкой, ладони отогрел, тогда получилось. Кот всё это время лежал на коленях и прибавлял весу, пока я возился, будто он не кот, а мешок картошки. Встать сразу не вышло, поясница затекла. Согнал его, прошёлся до кухни. Теперь он устроился на моём месте, а я стою и пью остывший чай. Удобно всем, кроме хозяина квартиры.

The booking app wants me to choose colours for different jobs and I've spent longer on that than putting any jobs in. Lockout red seemed obvious, then I wondered whether red should mean unpaid, which is also quite urgent according to my uncle. He says any colour is fine if the address is actually there. Fair point, annoying delivery. I entered tomorrow's first call and found the map opens straight from it, which is useful. Then a video about an old safe came up and I lost twenty minutes. Still got two addresses in voice notes somewhere. I like the idea of opening the app and having the whole day ready, less keen on the part where someone has to put the whole day in.

Walked by the lake with my boyfriend after dinner. The wind was cooler than it had looked from the apartment, and I kept taking my hands out of my pockets and putting them back. After a day entering faint handwritten lot codes, looking across the water felt easier on my eyes than looking at anything close. I hadn't realised how tightly I'd been holding my forehead until that stopped. We took the longer way home and my legs felt pleasantly tired on the stairs. I was hungry again, which seemed unfair considering we'd already eaten. He offered half his pastry. I said a small piece and then ate my full half without further discussion.

今天白班回来没有立马吃饭，媳妇在切菜，我拿毛巾擦了脸，坐门口小凳上等，背靠不到东西，腰慢慢往下坠，就把凳子往墙边挪了挪，靠上去得劲些，风扇吹过来，汗干了衣裳还有点硬，她喊端碗我才起来，腿上压出两道凳子边，红红的，坐这低凳子还是不如床边，吃饭倒不急了，菜刚出锅，烫，夹一口等一会，头一次觉得这碗饭吃完时间也没过去多少，平时跟后面有人催一样，其实家里木有人催我

Mum laughed at a wrong crossword answer I gave her, a proper little laugh, not just the smile she manages when I'm talking too fast. I kept making a joke of the answer after that, probably wore it out completely, but I wanted to hear her do it again. On the way out I told the nurse we'd had a good visit and I meant it. In the car I felt a bit flat anyway. Such a small sound to be carrying home like a prize. Craig asked what was for tea and I told him about the crossword first, made him stop looking in the freezer while I said it.

В кроссворде застрял на старом названии инструмента. Буквы почти все есть, слово должно знакомое быть. В училище такие лежали в шкафу, даже ручку помню, деревянную, потемневшую, а название не идёт. С телефоном искать не стал. Во время обхода всё перебирал, потом вспомнил фамилию мастера и как он нас строил за грязный верстак. Вот это зачем в голове осталось, а нужное слово нет. Книжку пока закрыл. Бывает, после сна само находится. Молодой сменщик предлагал ответ посмотреть, но мне тогда весь смысл какой, готовые буквы переписать.

Spent too long preparing dinner in shoes I should have taken off when I got home. By the time the sauce was ready my feet were hot and my hips felt stiff, despite the watch having congratulated me several times for standing. Apparently standing motionless while chopping is not the same as going for a walk. My partner finished the vegetables while I sat down, then I ate too quickly because I was hungry and impatient with my own excellent meal. The usual mild burning arrived later. I know this sequence. It did not improve through being familiar. We went for a gentle walk and I was mostly comfortable by the time we came back.

Estoy revisando cómo anotar los días en que el encargado recoge la lluvia si yo salgo a León. Hasta ahora me dicta la medida y yo la paso al cuaderno, pero al leer un registro de hace años ya no distingo cuáles observaciones hice personalmente. El número puede estar correcto y faltarle ese dato. Pensé en usar otra tinta, aunque después necesitaría recordar qué significa cada color. Pondré unas iniciales junto a la cantidad. Mi hija quiere que copie todo en la computadora. Primero necesito que las hojas digan exactamente qué se midió y quién lo midió. Son dos trabajos distintos.

went skating by the lake with absolutely no training goal, shocking behavior from someone who owns this many knee supports. once i stopped trying to go fast i could feel how much of the work was just shifting my weight, one hip then the other, arms doing their own embarrassing thing. wind was cold on my sweaty forehead and my thighs were warm all the way home. took off the pads and found the usual red marks, nothing dramatic enough for the group chat. i like being tired from moving somewhere i chose, instead of realizing at the lockers that i've been clenching my entire ass through twelve hours of somebody else's emergencies.

বিদ্যালয়ের পুরোনো নথি কম্পিউটারে তোলার আগে নামের বানান নিয়ে নিয়ম ঠিক করা দরকার। একই ছাত্রীর নাম তিন কাগজে তিন রকম থাকলে শুধু দ্রুত লিখে রাখলে লাভ কী। আমি প্রথমে আলাদা তালিকা করতে চাই, কোথায় পার্থক্য আছে, কোন মূল কাগজ দেখে নিশ্চিত হব। সহকর্মী বললেন এতে সময় বেশি লাগবে। লাগবে, কিন্তু পরে নাম খুঁজে না পেলে আবার আমার টেবিলেই আসবে। ভাবছি এক বছরের নথি দিয়ে শুরু করি। সব আলমারি একসঙ্গে খুললে কাগজের চেয়ে প্রশ্নই বেশি জমবে, আর চলতি ভর্তির কাজও থেমে যাবে।
